John Peet

General Manager

John Peet cut his teeth behind the bar in Los Angeles, after graduating from the University Of Cincinnati. In 2015, he moved to Nashville and won the Nashville Bartenders Bash two consecutive years (2015 & 2016). After a brief stint helping to open Asbury Distilling in NJ, where he consulted on spirits while acting as General Manager, he returned to Nashville as Bar Manager at House of Cards, one of Open Table's 100 best restaurants. Peet was also part of the opening teams of Nashville staples Skull’s Rainbow Room and Old Glory. With more than 10 years of experience behind the bar, John is a certified Bourbon Steward, a Level One Sommelier, and has been featured in the the Tennessean, LA Weeks, and USA Today.

Shawn Spencer

Music & Marketing Director

After graduating from Georgia Tech, fronting the band Seven Handle Circus for several years, touring nationally, being featured on Conan, People Magazine, Paste & GuitarWorld, and climbing the Americana Radio Charts,  Shawn Spencer joined the Jane's team to curate a music line-up of the next generation of bluegrass and Americana virtuosos.

Spencer also leads Jane's acclaimed house band, Greenwood Rye.

Charlie Davis

Head Chef

Charlie Davis was born and raised in Asheville, North Carolina where he studied Culinary Arts after cutting his teeth from the bottom up as a line cook at 15 years old. He moved to Nashville 2009 where he continued building his craft at such places as Cafe Roze, Moto, Tansuo and Fin & Pearl.  He helped open Jane's Hideaway as the Sous Chef, working his way up to head chef, where he now has the opportunity to manifest his culinary vision.
